In this episode, I interview, Bachir El Khoury.

Bachir El Khoury is a serial tech entrepreneur, founder and Managing Director at Limpid Logic. He leads a team of designers, inventors, gamers and engineers, working on leading edge technologies in IoT, mobile, Augmented and Virtual Reality for the entertainment and real estate industries. Bachir is a big believer that technology makes us more human, and that it is the natural evolution of the Human race. His strong creative background and over 20 years in software and game development, have placed him at the intersection of the creative and technical worlds.

My Takeaways:

There are so many great takeaways in this episode as well as one liners. Having grown up in Lebanon during the 80s and having lived during the turmoil of the civil wars, Bachir found himself diving into technology and programming as a safe harbor. He’s been able to utilize those skills in his current career, however, he would not call it work. As you heard on the show, Bachir does not have a work / life balance, he has a life / life balance. Essentially, if you have to balance your work and life then you are not necessarily doing what you are passionately in love with. Bachir’s other habits are waking up early (4:30 am) and generally only getting no more than 6 hours of sleep per evening and waking to focus on his personal affirmation. Finally, he loves reading with a focus on memoirs and biographies as he learns from these people lessons that he can implement in his life.
