In this episode, I interview, Laura Gmeinder & Coreyne Woodman-Holoubek.
Laura’s passion lies at the intersection of leadership development and business strategy. Her story? She survived a quarter life crisis by making friends with fear, left her corporate HR job (after 14 years) and set out to make an impact in the world using her heart as her compass. She is an InBusiness Magazine “40 Under 40”, honored for her business savvy and civic contributions, a BRAVA magazine 2018 Woman to Watch and an Athena Young Professional Award nominee. Laura is a proud graduate of Leadership Greater Madison, Vice President of Disrupt Madison and Milwaukee and a past president of the Junior League. She is co-producer of “If you Don’t, Who Will? Empowered Women Empowering Women” a documentary short. She is a regular contributor for the International Coach Federation (ICF) and provided coaching at Emerging Women conference (deemed a “Top Women’s Conference” by Forbes). Her expertise has been shared in the media for outlets like Huffington Post, US News & World Report and Wall Street Journal MarketWatch (talking about Taylor Swift no doubt). She strives to live an interesting life; the above was accomplished in the spirit of “Do one thing every day that scares you.”
Coreyne is an entrepreneur and progressive HR Leadership Expert with 15 plus years of global business, leadership, and strategic HR experience. Coreyne leads the HR team for Contracted Leadership, an embedded leadership firm she co-founded with her husband Bruce Holoubek. Coreyne and her team partner with CEOs and business leaders to develop customized HR programming and initiatives that align organizational talent and human potential to strategic organizational goals and objectives. Coreyne’s passion projects are Disrupt Madison and Disrupt Milwaukee, movements designed to empower change in the world of work; and how we view our role in the future of work. She is also a Co-Producer of “If You Don’t, Who Will? Empowered Women Empowering Women”. Coreyne is a Brava Magazine 2018 Woman to Watch, a mother of two daughters, and an amateur improv comedian.
