In this episode, I interview, Valerie Groth.
Valerie Groth is an executive coach and internationally acclaimed speaker who has received national attention for her innovative work as a social entrepreneur. She is also the nonprofit founder of Ryan Banks Academy, a nonprofit building Chicago's first boarding school for urban youth. Her book, The Power of the Possible: The Dire State of Inner City Education and One Woman's Revolution to Fix It, was released December 2017.
While we covered a lot of territory regarding Valerie and the Ryan Banks Academy, we also discussed Valerie’s methods of self-care; yoga, meditation, walking, being in nature, and finding time to connect with people.
